Cranberry Pear and Gorgonzola Salad

The star of this salad is our Cranberry Pear vinaigrette dressing. If you’ve never made your own homemade dressings, this is a delicious recipe to start with. Made with wholesome, fresh ingredients, this dressing is vibrant, delicious and easy to make! Our Cranberry Pear Salad is one of our favourites during the fall and winter months. Plump, juicy pears, sweet dried cranberries and candied pecans complement each other beautifully. 

 

Salad: 
8 cups of mixed greens or romaine lettuce
½ cup toasted pecan halves or our Maple Balsamic Glazed Pecans (recipe is posted under “Snacks”) 
½ cup gorgonzola or goat cheese, crumbled
½ cup dried cranberries
2 ripe pears, thinly sliced

Dressing:
¼ cup of Di Oliva Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Mild 
¼ cup of Di Oliva Cranberry Pear White Balsamic
¼ teaspoon salt
