Maple Balsamic Glazed Pecans
Our Maple Balsamic Glazed Pecans can be a delicious sweet treat and so easy to make. They are delicious as a crunchy topping for ice cream, to decorate your holiday dessert, salads or an added treat for your charcuterie board. These pecans are used in many of the salad recipes we’ve shared.
3 tablespoons of Di Oliva Maple Balsamic Vinegar
¾ cup light brown sugar
¼ cup Di Oliva Extra Virgin Olive Oil
4 cups of raw pecans (two 8-ounce bags)
1 tablespoon of water
Preheat oven to 350° F. Combine the brown sugar, maple balsamic, extra virgin olive oil and water in a medium-sized bowl. Whisk together well. Add pecans to the maple balsamic mixture. Mix well, making sure all the pecans are coated.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and brush with extra virgin olive oil. Spread pecans onto the baking sheet in a single layer. Roast pecans in oven for 20 minutes tossing 2-3 times throughout cooking time. It's a good idea to keep an eye on the pecans during the last 5 minutes as they can burn easily. Remove pecans from oven and stir frequently throughout cooling time (about 5 minutes) to prevent clumping.
